John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Tour Request Form
The memorial to our 35th president is a major cultural center for Washington and the nation. Broadway-bound plays, the National Symphony, grand opera, great American films, fine dining can be enjoyed here.

Tours for groups up to 10 people are available through Senator Bennett’s office; please request at least one week in advance. Tours for larger groups can be scheduled through the Kennedy Center. Tours are conducted 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All tour requests made through Senator Bennett’s must be received in writing in advance.

Ford’s Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, The National Theatre, and The Warner Theatre can be found in the 17 block area from 13th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. to 7th Street and G NW. The theaters, along with the MCI Center and many of Washington’s best restaurants are in this area.

Arena Stage Old Vat Theatre and Kreeger Theater
The Arena Stage produces American classics, premieres new American plays and supports works in progress. It is the first not-for-profit theater in the United States and a pioneer of the regional theater movement.

The Folger Shakespeare Library has a permanent theater production group that performs in an authentic Elizabethan Theatre.

Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts and Filene Center
Wolf Trap is a nationally-renowned performing arts and education organization with programs across the country and around the world. Its primary venue, the Filene Center, is a National Park for the Performing Arts, with over 90 shows throughout the summer. Its smaller indoor venue, The Barns at Wolf Trap, offers an equally diverse range of performances in the fall, winter, and spring in a 352-seat intimate theater built from two restored 18th century barns.
